•For Machu Picchu, book train tickets (PeruRail or Inca Rail) and entrance tickets well in advance, especially during peak season. Consider an early start to maximize your time.
•Many Sacred Valley tours combine Pisac, Ollantaytambo, and sometimes Maras/Moray. Independent travel by taxi or colectivo is also possible but requires more planning.
•Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake are high-altitude hikes. Acclimatize in Cusco for a few days before attempting them, and start very early to avoid the worst crowds and heat.
