Wheelchair-tagged venues across 10 European cities, sourced from OpenStreetMap contributor data. Includes hotels, restaurants, museums, attractions, transport, and more — each carrying a wheelchair accessibility tag recorded by an OpenStreetMap contributor — tagged, not verified by us or by anyone + supplementary metadata where contributors recorded it.
Each row is a venue — hotel, restaurant, café, museum, attraction, park, pharmacy, hospital, transport, or shop — that has been tagged with wheelchair accessibility metadata in OpenStreetMap. We export the stable OSM identifier alongside name, type, geocoordinates, the wheelchair tag value (yes / limited / designated), and supplementary fields where contributors recorded them: address, phone, website, Wikipedia reference, opening hours, cuisine (for food venues), star rating (hotels), free-text wheelchair description, and toilet accessibility.
name and wheelchair=yes|limited|designated tags. No reverse-geocoding, no LLM enrichment — what you download is what OSM contributors recorded.osmTotalTagged, the number of named wheelchair-tagged places OpenStreetMap holds for that bounding box, beside venueCount, the number in this file. Across the ten cities that is roughly 1,700 of about 38,900 — near 4%. We select for venues OSM describes well enough to be useful; a pin with no address, no hours and no type helps nobody. If you need every tagged place, query Overpass directly — the filter and the bounding boxes are stated here so you can reproduce ours exactly.accessibility-YYYY-MM-DD.json/.csv — and the -latest.json/.csv pointer always reflects the most recent, so a citation can name either a fixed snapshot or the moving one.Released under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 — the same share-alike license as the OpenStreetMap data this is derived from.
