- •Tet Nguyen Dan (Lunar New Year), usually in late January or February, is a major holiday. While festive, many shops, restaurants, and transport services shut down for 3-5 days, making travel difficult.
- •The dry season from December to April offers the most comfortable weather, but also coincides with peak tourist season and highest prices.
- •Shoulder months like November and March offer a good balance of decent weather and slightly fewer crowds/lower prices compared to the absolute peak.
- •Ho Chi Minh City's heat is most intense in April, often exceeding 35°C, making outdoor activities less pleasant.
