Insider timing tips
- •The 'shoulder seasons' (April-May and September-October) offer a great balance of good weather, fewer crowds than peak summer, and slightly lower prices, especially for accommodation.
- •August is the hottest month but also the most crowded and expensive. If you prefer a slightly less intense experience, July or September are excellent alternatives with similar weather.
- •Many beach clubs and smaller establishments operate strictly from April/May to October. Outside these months, especially November to March, expect significant closures and a much quieter atmosphere.
- •Ibiza Town (Eivissa) remains active year-round, offering a glimpse of local life and dining options even in the quietest months, unlike the resort towns which largely shut down.
