France is one of 24 countries on Vietnam's unilateral visa-exemption list — 45-day stay since August 2023; the list was expanded to 24 countries in August 2025 (Resolution 229) and currently runs through 2028. There is no longer a mandatory waiting period between entries; use the e-Visa ($25, up to 90 days) for longer stays.
