France is on Thailand's expanded 93-country visa-exemption list (widened from 57 in July 2024) — the 60-day permanent regulation replaced the previous 30-day tourist exemption. Extensible once for 30 more days at immigration (~1,900 THB / $55). HEADS-UP (July 2026): Thailand's cabinet approved replacing the blanket 60-day exemption with a tiered system (30 days for most nationalities); it takes effect 15 days after Royal Gazette publication, which has not happened yet — the 60-day rule applies today, but re-check close to travel.
