Notes

From 15 September 2026, Indian passport holders can stay in Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, replacing the 60-day exemption; the stay can be extended once by up to 30 days (Royal Thai Embassy, Washington DC, updated 10 September 2026; Tourism Authority of Thailand). Travellers who entered before 15 September usually keep the stay they were granted (UK government travel advice). Visa-exempt entry is limited to twice per calendar year: the Tourism Authority of Thailand applies this to land-border entries, while the Thai Embassy in London states it without that distinction, so check before planning several trips.
