Verified 2026-07-24British citizens can enter UAE without a visa for up to 90 days.
British passport holders get a free visa on arrival at every UAE entry point, valid for a total of 90 days within any 180-day period (extended from 30 days in November 2024) and good across all seven emirates. The stay is counted cumulatively across visits — 90 days used up early in a 180-day window leaves none until it rolls over. Overstaying is fined per day, so track the window rather than assuming a fresh 90 days on re-entry. Correction 2026-07-24: an earlier version of this page said 30 days and described a paid 30-day extension that does not exist for this entry type.
