🇹🇭Brazil passport → Thailand
Verified 2026-07-24Brazilian passport holders can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 90 days.
Brazil holds a 90-day bilateral visa-exemption agreement with Thailand (alongside Argentina, Chile, Peru, South Korea) — longer than the 60-day general exemption that Thailand extended to 93 countries in July 2024. Cannot be extended past 90 days without exiting and re-entering. HEADS-UP (July 2026): Thailand's cabinet approved replacing the blanket 60-day exemption with a tiered system (30 days for most nationalities); it takes effect 15 days after Royal Gazette publication, which has not happened yet — the 60-day rule applies today, but re-check close to travel.

Brazil is NOT on Vietnam's 13-nation unilateral visa-exemption list (which covers France, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Nordic states, Belarus, Russia). Brazilians must use Vietnam's e-Visa — universalized to all nationalities in August 2023, 90-day single or multiple entry.

🇲🇽Brazil passport → Mexico
Verified 2026-07-14Brazilian passport holders need an eVisa to enter Mexico; the permitted stay is up to 180 days.
Mexico requires a visa from Brazilian citizens again: since 5 February 2026 air travellers can use the SRE electronic visa (usually issued same day), which replaced the consular-only regime in force since 2022. Land/sea entries still need a consular visitor visa. Brazilians holding a valid US/UK/Canada/Japan/Schengen visa or permanent residence are exempt. Maximum stay 180 days; no paid work allowed. Correction 2026-07-14: an earlier version of this page described Brazil→Mexico as visa-free.

🇰🇷Brazil passport → South Korea
Verified 2026-07-27Brazilian passport holders need an ETA (electronic travel authorization) to enter South Korea; the permitted stay is up to 90 days.
The Brazil-Korea visa exemption agreement allows Brazilians up to 90 days of tourism without a visa, but a K-ETA must be approved BEFORE boarding. Brazil is not covered by the temporary K-ETA waiver that runs to 31 December 2026 — that applies to 22 other countries — so unlike US or EU travellers, Brazilians still have to apply. Do it at least 72 hours ahead on the official k-eta.go.kr; approval lasts 3 years. Correction 2026-07-27: an earlier version described the requirement as 'reinstated in January 2026', which wrongly implied Brazil had been exempt during 2023-2025.
